Recently saw a tweet from someone about a story written talking about how "Apple execs knew" how close Steve Jobs was to his last moments when they did the 4s reveal.
Really? You think? Oh dear, how *could* they have known...oh...wait. Maybe because he'd stepped down as CEO 6 weeks earlier. Among other things.
Journalism is dead.

We'll miss you, Steve
It's been a surreal week.
On Monday, the entire internet is filled with buzz about Apple and iPhone5, (even though no one at Apple ever said anything about 5)
On Tuesday, Tim Cook does his first stint on stage as Apple's head honcho, and presents to us the 4s. It's awesome. Just not as awesome as a huge percentage of the people out there thought it should be.
On Wednesday, the bloggy scribbly technocrats whine bitch and moan about how they wanted iPhone5, where was the pop, the flair, the magic, where was APPLE blah blah blah.
Wednesday evening, Steve passes, and everyone who'd spent the day trash talking his company went "O Shiiiii..."
Scoble even apologized. (Scoble's G+ letter to Tim Cook)
I've never owned a Mac. When calculating my total time spent on comps, I would hazard a guess that I've spent less than 0.0001% of it using one. Hell, my iPhone 4 isn't mine, I have it by the kind graces of my employer.
It doesn't matter. Steve has been our Leonardo da Vinci of Tech. Everyone in the world has been affected by his influence. Now, the world will be touched by his absence.
Including me.
